My Mood for the day expressed so eloquently by William Blake, and the voice in the music.....the question remains.......who can stand?
When the souls of the oppressed
Fight in the troubled air that rages,
Who can stand?
When Sin claps his broad wings over the battle,
And sails rejoicing in the flood of Death;
O who hath caused this?
O who can answer at the throne of God?
The Kings and Nobles of the Land have done it!
Hear it not, Heaven, thy Ministers have done it!

Who Can Stand? ~ William Blake
O for a voice like thunder, and a tongue
To drown the throat of war!
When the senses
Are shaken, and the soul is driven to madness,
Who can stand?
To drown the throat of war!
When the senses
Are shaken, and the soul is driven to madness,
Who can stand?
When the souls of the oppressed
Fight in the troubled air that rages,
Who can stand?
When the whirlwind of fury comes from the
Throne of God, when the frowns of his countenance
Drive the nations together,
Who can stand?
Throne of God, when the frowns of his countenance
Drive the nations together,
Who can stand?
When Sin claps his broad wings over the battle,
And sails rejoicing in the flood of Death;
When souls are torn to everlasting fire,
And fiends of Hell rejoice upon the slain.
O who can stand?
And fiends of Hell rejoice upon the slain.
O who can stand?
O who hath caused this?
O who can answer at the throne of God?
The Kings and Nobles of the Land have done it!
Hear it not, Heaven, thy Ministers have done it!

HA! William Blake, you too were deceived.
ReplyDeleteAsk the Demiurge himself. Ah but he's too blind
to see and too self absorbed to even CARE!
May we all stand LIBERATED from our ignorance!
Knowledge Protects.
Ignorance Endangers.

DeleteThe psychopath ministers who have no accountability, no consciences, and no emotions. Truthfully said, and William Blake was way before our time. As it was in the past, and now is in the present, it still continues.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I am agreeing with YOU, dear Serena, not Tom Paine.
ReplyDeleteHi Serena, I just found your blogspot via the fb group treesisters. Thank you for sharing your feelings and wisdom. It gives me hope..Something that's been hard for me to find lately as it appears so much is working against us. I hope this message provides you with inspiration to keep sharing your knowledge. I understand women have a major responsibility in healing the errors of the patrix and feel many of us are lost and don't know how to connect with the feminine as we have had to over exercise or masculinity to survive. I feel the first step is to accept and forgive the errors of our own mothers. I can to this conclusion after reading "Why It's Crucial for Women to Heal the Mother Wound", Bethany Webster. My question is what else can we do to strengthen our feminine energy? I have begun watering the earth with my moon blood. I have also started drinking it on the second day of bleeding when it's bright red and feels cleanest. I know it sounds crazy but I've researched it and the blood contains healing stem cells, scientists have been working with it with amazing results. It is also said to be the original "blood of Christ" and elixer of life. I am consuming my own feminine essence and returning it to the earth rather than flushing it down the toilet our having it absorbed by a toxic pad/tampon. Any thoughts here? Thank you again. I will be standing.
ReplyDeleteBluejean, your comments and questions are riveting and I'd like to answer more in depth, but not here as a comment....would you be willing to share your email and I will receive it and not publish it, but respond to you more properly?
